Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical design of components, mechanisms and assemblies, from a single bracket to a complete system, engineered for the loads, temperatures and space they have to work in.

What we do

We design and develop mechanical parts and systems that have to perform in service. That covers concept layout and packaging, detailed design, structural calculations, tolerancing, and the drawings and data needed to make and assemble the parts.

Our team’s background includes motorsport suspension, internal combustion engines, battery packs and vehicle structures, so we are used to work where weight, stiffness and reliability all matter at once.

  • Concept layout and packaging studies
  • Mechanism, linkage and kinematic design
  • Suspension and chassis components
  • Engine and powertrain components
  • Battery pack structures and enclosures
  • Brackets, mounts and load paths
  • Structural calculations for strength and stiffness
  • Tolerance stack-ups and fits
  • Material and fastener selection
  • Production drawings with GD&T

Specialist areas

Where our experience runs deepest

Suspension and chassis

Wishbones, uprights, rockers and mounts designed for stiffness, weight and serviceability, with the kinematics checked against the packaging.

Engines and powertrain

Internal combustion engine components, brackets and ancillaries designed for the heat, vibration and loads they see in service.

Battery packs

Mechanical design of battery pack structures, enclosures and mountings, balancing protection, weight and access for servicing.
